Would someone be kind enough to provide some info about this watch case. It was made by the Philadelphia Pa Watch Co and the serial number is 9709388. I believe this is a gold filled watch case. The myBulova website contains the worlds largest database of old, vintage and antique Bulova watches and pocket watches, including early Rubaiyat, Hudson and Lady Maxim models as well as the famous Bulova Lone Eagle and Bulova Accutron models.

Antique and vintage watches can be defined as being over 100 years old or no longer in production and can be found at many jewelry stores, watch repair stores or online. Wittnauer watches began with Albert Wittnauer, who created his brand of watches in New York in 1880. In 1936, the Wittnauer watch company joined with Longines watches and became the Longines-Wittnauer Co. in a partnership that lasted until 1994.
