    • Apple Books: Click Books Store, then Purchased under Quick Links on the right side of the Apple Books window.
    • App Store: Click or your photo in the bottom-left corner.
  3. To the right of Purchased, select a family member's name to view their content.
  4. Download or play the items that you want.

On your Apple TV

  1. On your Apple TV, select Movies, TV Shows, or App Store.
  2. Select Purchased > Family Sharing, then select your family member to see their content. You can access shared movies, TV shows, and apps on Apple TV, but not music.

On your Windows PC

  1. If you’re not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Family Purchases.
  3. Select a family member's name to view their content.
  4. Download or play the items that you want.

Review your Family Sharing settings

When you join a family, you're asked to confirm the Apple ID that you use for making App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books purchases. After you choose and confirm your Apple ID, you can share purchases from that account with your family members.

Review your Family Sharing settings to make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID and that purchase sharing is turned on.

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Tap Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing. On iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Family.
  2. Under Shared Features, tap Purchase Sharing.
  3. Make sure Share My Purchases is turned on, and that your account information is correct.

Mac

  1. Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
  2. Click Manage Family.
  3. Click the My Apps & Services tab.
  4. Make sure that there is a check mark next to Share my purchases with family, and that your account information is correct.
